I got my start as a mechanic at a Harley-Davidson dealership straight out of high school — hands-on work, long hours, and a paycheck that never seemed to catch up to the effort I was putting in. A couple years later I landed in the coatings industry working for a concrete contractor, and that's when everything clicked. I saw the margins, I saw the demand, and I saw guys with way less hustle than me making real money doing it.
So in 2006 I started my own coatings installation company. No big backing, no shortcuts — just the install skill and the will to figure the business side out as I went. I grew that company past $600,000 a year working directly with homeowners and contractors.
In 2013 I took everything I'd learned and launched Leggari Products, and it grew into a multimillion-dollar company. Now I've taken everything that took me years to figure out the hard way — the install, the pricing, the business side — and built it into a system so guys don't have to waste the time or money I did just to get started.
